Metronome Kit

Metronome Kit

A simple metronome. It uses three 7-segment displays to display the beats per minute and has an LED that will blink with the beat (in addition to the sound that will play). BPM, time signature, and subdivision changes can be made with buttons which will play a different pitch with the corresponding beat.

The kit can be used as a functional educational project to practice soldering and learning embedded programming concepts.

I am going to order this product for my research project. would it be possible for me to have a look at the code, cause i need to modify the code to get an analog output (square wave) that sync with the beats. i appreciate if you can send a copy to my email address, chris.wang@uws.edu.au

Does "learning embedded programming concepts" mean reading about the concept of embedded programming, or doing actual programming?

I plan to release the source code that would be pre-programmed on the microcontroller that comes with the kit and include a walk through of what the code is doing in the step-by-step instructions. The end user would then be more than welcome to modify the code and experiment with the device providing they can get their hands on a programmer.
