This circuit drives 3 LEDs (red, green and blue) to get a soft and smooth color transition from red to violet. With five changing speeds, you can enjoy a colorful show and the random scheme avoids the boring predictable color switching.
A PIC microcontroller is used to generate three different pwm (pulse width modulation) signals. These make the LEDs switch between on and off; changing the time that LEDs are on with the high enough speed, will make thehuman eye sees a change in the brightness of the LEDs.
This PCB version avoids any miss wiring and reduces the assembly time.
Note: light box is needed.
